FOR ALL MY FRIENDS WHO R WEARING AND R PLANNING TO USE CONTACT LENSES

If u ask me contact lenses are the best choice and can be preferred more over glasses…they r indeed quite attractive but there are certain important rules to be followed without which contact lenses would end up ur worst night mare!!!
The Contact lenses mostly used are the soft and semisoft lenses. Disposables are the most hygienic option as they r replaced after a particular period – either daily, fortnightly, monthly or quarterly.
Here are some of the do’s and don’s of using contact lenses..
· Don’t use an anti-bacterial soap since you may destroy the natural bacteria found on the eye. These bacteria keep pathogenic bacteria from colonizing the cornea.
· Excessive use, particularly overnight wear should be avoided.
· Make sure the tip of the contact lens solution bottle does not touch any surface, including your body as it can become contaminated.
· Don let tape water run on your contact lenses and accessories, as it can carry a micro organism called Acanthameoba that causes serious eye infections.
· Lens can be rinsed with hot tap water and dried when not in use.
· Throw out your contact lens case once a month, or as directed to reduce your risk of infection.
· Cleaning is a must atleast once a day.
· If any minor irritation, consult the doctor immediately.
· Always keep an u-to-date spare pair of prescription glasses handy to give your eyes rest from the contact lenses.
· Never cry on put any eye make-up while wearing contact lenses. Its not recommendable.
· Always wear lenses before make-up and remove them before removing make-up.
· Get ur eyes examined at least once a year or as directed by your ophthalmologist.

Contact lenses can a be much more safer to use and fun too if these simple rules are followed..

GENERAL TIPS ON WHAT IT RECRUITERS EXPECT

A person might have very good academic records, but he faces failure. A person might be well accomplished in technical skills but he may be chucked out.
WHAT IS THE REASON BEHIND THIS?
The main reason is lack of preparation. They have the stuff in them but are unable to present it upto the expectations of the recruiters.
Here are some general tips on what recruiters are looking for in people. (Source – ‘Education plus’ – THE HINDU’) (Emphasis sdded)
· College – The colleges are ranked first so which college u study in matters a lot said Vishwanathan Venkatasubramanian, Senior Manager Talent Aqusition – Wipro Technologies.
· A good resume.
· Good and consistent academic track records. (Some companies look for good scores in class X and XII).
· Most important- ‘ NO HISTORY OF ARREARS’
· Practical exposure ( Choose a good project as project experience is considered important).
· Never mention group projects as an individual creation in the resume.
· Freshers – Be thorough on the projects you have done.
· Don know something?? ADMIT IT!! Assure them that u r willing to learn it soon!!
· Proof of self created code in a CD along with the resume adds credit..
· Add any additional certification courses on the resume only if its completed.
· On the whole ‘ If something is on your resume, it should be true’ says Shubha – Wipro technologies.

Before all this… there’s one most important thing..

‘PREPARE FOR THE APTITUDES LONG BEFORE HAND’
They are the initial keys of your journey towards your ‘DREAM CAREER’..
